Amy Moorea Wong
Amy Moorea Wong is a color authority and contemporary interior design writer who has specialized in all things decorating for over a decade.
Alongside being Livingetc’s Color Expert, she is also Interiors Editor at The Glossary magazine and Contributing Editor at Homes & Gardens, alongside regularly contributing to an array of global publications to share her insights on interior design zeitgeist.
Her book Kaleidoscope: Modern Homes in Every Colour explores a collection of cool, colorful homes fizzing with creativity, surprises, and inspiration, from the bold and bright to the delicate and demure. Kaleidoscope has been featured across a spectrum of international publications such as ELLE Decoration, Livingetc, House & Garden, Red, Homes & Gardens, You, and Better Homes & Gardens.
Amy also collaborates with interiors brands on product designs, recently working with Heathfield&Co on the Dusk lighting collection which is defined by a carefully selected edit of dream-like, hazy colors in unexpected combinations. As an interior design color expert with a degree in Fine Art, Amy works with clients to re-imagine the hues in their spaces, her beautifully considered palettes punctuated with dashes of surprise and excitement for a playful, dynamic feel.
As an ardent believer in the power of the home to ignite happiness, and that color on surfaces, ceilings, shelves, and sofas shouldn’t be intimidating, Amy has a love for deftly deployed primary colors plus pops of pinks and natural materials, which is something she is continually experimenting with.
