Tara King
With over 10 years of experience writing for interiors and lifestyle publications, Tara is well placed to offer advice on all things home-related, while an interest in wellness sees her well-versed in how to create spaces that promote mindfulness – always with style at the fore. She holds a first-class masters degree in Philosophy from Bristol University, but time spent as an intern for a start-up ‘slow’ fashion magazine sparked a passion for creative journalism. Success saw her move to London for a full-time role as Style Writer for Country Homes & Interiors in 2014. Seven years (and two children) later, she decided to enter the exciting world of freelance, and has since contributed to Homes & Gardens, Ideal Home, Real Homes and Livingetc across various platforms. Areas of expertise include styling and decorating, homemaking and home organization, as well as self-care, health and wellness. A busy household means Tara gets plenty of opportunities to practise what she preaches – maintaining a calm, clutter-free home that’s as stylish as it is family-friendly is no mean feat! In her spare time, Tara likes to practise creativity through embroidery, story-writing and cookery.
