Banana Republic, famous for reimagined heritage classics like trench coats and button-downs, is having a renaissance. There was, of course, the collaboration with contemporary designer Peter Do last October, which sent myself and the fashion community into a gleeful frenzy, not to mention the apparel brand’s now two-year-long virality on TikTok. Though the retailer has been around since 1978, Banana Republic has never felt more relevant. Exhibit A? BR Home.
Banana Republic’s home line is relatively new, only debuting textiles like bedding and rugs as of last spring, but has since expanded to cover every aspect of home decor — and boy, is it good. Like the attire of an aristocratic explorer circa 1970, BR Home’s offerings are neutral, worldly, and refined — dare I say archive-worthy. Its look is a marked departure from the current homeware landscape, with the only exception being high-end showrooms where prices are largely by inquiry.
Basically, BR Home looks expensive. While I wouldn't categorize its offerings as budget-friendly per se (although there are a few affordable items on this list), I do believe that the prices are more than fair. Considering the artisanal craftsmanship and archival quality of each piece, you're certainly getting your money's worth — and then some.

I've written about this accent chair ad nauseam, but I'll do it again here. It so eloquently captures the current movement towards the shaggy and exaggerated but refines it with an enveloping bolster-style back. There simply is nothing else like it.

Raked angles and a sling-style leather seat are utter perfection in this mid-century-inspired accent chair. Notice its brass metal accents, which up the opulence. Pair with a side table and rug, and you have a compelling focal point.

Smitten with the exaggerated height of this chair. Its back appears almost spinal with its complex structure, thanks to the expert application of jute and obsidian solid oak — chic, chic, chic.
BR Home Lighting

A dreamy cascade of inky glass beads, it's dark and decadent jewelry for your ceiling. An absolutely showstopping living room lighting idea.

This ultra low-slung base is unorthodox, but the result is exquisite. The added blend of linen with acacia feels welcoming and all the more design-forward.

BR Home's global influences ring true in this totem-style floor lamp. Its carved mango wood base reveals an organically imperfect texture — a subtle, showroom-status touch.
BR Home Dining Tables

This dining table uniquely boasts seven sides and is complete with the sort of dramatic veining only Emperador marble can offer. It's so timeless, yet I've never seen anything like it.

This hand-chiseled dining table is such a standout. Its double pedestal base takes on a sculptural form with oval cutouts — an artistic addition to any well-appointed dining room.

Both a stately feat of geometry but somehow also approachable, this table reminds me of summer picnics — but ten times chicer. Best suited for spaces with light neutral color palettes.
