'It's Fashion Meets Interiors!' — Our Style Editor Picks the Best Pieces from BR Home, a Brand That's Exceeding Expectations
You might know Banana Republic for its clothing, but BR Home is quickly emerging as the brand to watch. Anticipate homeware with organic decadence and showroom status sensibilities
Banana Republic, famous for reimagined heritage classics like trench coats and button-downs, is having a renaissance. There was, of course, the collaboration with contemporary designer Peter Do last October, which sent myself and the fashion community into a gleeful frenzy, not to mention the apparel brand’s now two-year-long virality on TikTok. Though the retailer has been around since 1978, Banana Republic has never felt more relevant. Exhibit A? BR Home.
Banana Republic’s home line is relatively new, only debuting textiles like bedding and rugs as of last spring, but has since expanded to cover every aspect of home decor — and boy, is it good. Like the attire of an aristocratic explorer circa 1970, BR Home’s offerings are neutral, worldly, and refined — dare I say archive-worthy. Its look is a marked departure from the current homeware landscape, with the only exception being high-end showrooms where prices are largely by inquiry.
Basically, BR Home looks expensive. While I wouldn't categorize its offerings as budget-friendly per se (although there are a few affordable items on this list), I do believe that the prices are more than fair. Considering the artisanal craftsmanship and archival quality of each piece, you're certainly getting your money's worth — and then some.
If, like me, you find yourself drawn to everything in sight, I’ve curated an edit to help you navigate. After much deliberation, see my favorites below.

Best of BR Home
Livingetc knows design.
BR Home Decor
Price: $195
This handmade vase, crafted in glazed earthenware, makes for a one-of-a-kind addition to any table. Its slender handles add a feeling of delicacy to an otherwise substantial silhouette.
BR Home Chairs
Price: $650
I've written about this accent chair ad nauseam, but I'll do it again here. It so eloquently captures the current movement towards the shaggy and exaggerated but refines it with an enveloping bolster-style back. There simply is nothing else like it.
BR Home Lighting
Price: $795
A dreamy cascade of inky glass beads, it's dark and decadent jewelry for your ceiling. An absolutely showstopping living room lighting idea.
BR Home Dining Tables
Price: $3,495
This dining table uniquely boasts seven sides and is complete with the sort of dramatic veining only Emperador marble can offer. It's so timeless, yet I've never seen anything like it.
BR Home Rugs
Price: $4,350
The Agadir Rug has undeniable 'It' factor. If it were a person, it would have its show. Its verticality and organic sensibilities turn a shade one might expect to read a tad garish into something uniquely spectacular. Paired with BR Home's otherwise neutral offerings, it's a killer statement.
Price: $1,795
Dimensional texture and natural hues make for the sort of quicksand you actually want to get lost in. Available in larger sizes as well.
Price: $1,550
Geometric forms take on a delicate dance throughout this 100% wool hand-knotted rug. It's unbelievably soft, thanks to its low pile height. An elegant way to anchor a room with dramatic effect.
These papier mache vases offer a similarly storied, organic look.
