BEST HARD FLOORING - winner: GALION BY WOODWORKS by Ted todd

This wood, English oak, features an incredible natural grain pattern throughout the logs. 

The Galion planks are dimensionally impressive and among the largest in the Woodworks collections. The different lengths add interest to the floor, while the narrower widths add scale and proportion to the wider boards.

Inspired by the sun setting over the shimmering sea of Bodrum, on the Aegean
coast of Turkey, this geo design is ideal for a bold backdrop or a feature underfoot.

Best rug - winner: RUFFLE SAGE BY MARTIN BRUDNIZKI FOR THE RUG COMPANY

The opulent Ruffle Sage rug features a calligraphic looping border, crafted in a duet of harmonious tones. Inspired by the alluring patterns found in mid-century design, it’s made by craftspeople in Nepal.

‘The looped details make it extra special. It really frames the room,’ says Alice Temperley.

BEST runners - winner: ROGER OATES design X A RUM FELLOW 

A creative collaboration between Roger Oates Design and London-based design studio A Rum Fellow, the collection comprises four designs, unified by stripes, texture and vibrant colour. The yarn is 100% British blend wool, dyed and spun in Yorkshire.

‘I think these are amazing and they give a real contemporary twist to carpets,’ says Staffan Tollgård.
