You probably know this celeb-loved brand for its bamboo bedding, but how do Cozy Earth’s towels measure up? Read my honest, unfiltered review
Cozy Earth’s towels might be pricey, but they’re also (almost preposterously) soft, exceptionally absorbent, and age like fine wine. Worth it? Absolutely.

What do celebrity momager Kris Jenner and iconic talk show host Oprah Winfrey have in common? Cozy Earth. Both have sung the praises of the brand’s bamboo bedding, and that’s exactly how this luxury home essentials brand landed on my radar. I’ve tried the bamboo sheet set (exquisite, by the way), and its made parting with my bed for morning barre classes increasingly arduous. But sheets were just the gateway.
Oprah never mentioned the Cozy Earth bath towels. Kris didn’t either. Were these a hidden gem or something to skip? Naturally, I had to investigate. And luckily, I was sent a set to test for myself. So, here's my honest thoughts.
Absorbency
I opted for the Luxe Striped Bath Towels, a pinstriped upgrade to Cozy Earth’s classic Luxe Bath collection. My first impression? Gorgeous. The rich black-and-white contrast gave my bathroom an instant lift. But my second thought was skepticism. They were so soft — almost too soft. Would they even absorb anything, or was I going to feel like I was just smearing plush fabric over wet skin? (A huge mistake with bath towels, if you ask our interiors editor Emma Breislin.)
Thankfully, my doubts were misplaced. These towels are remarkably absorbent. They also dry faster than any I’ve tried — within just a few hours — leaving me with a fresh, dry towel for my morning shower. A far cry from my tried-and-true-terry, which is often still damp from the night before.
Price: $116/set of 2, Was: $145
Cozy Earth’s Luxe Bath Towels feel more like plush blankets than traditional towels, yet they absorb water quickly and effortlessly — no aggressive rubbing required. While a two-piece bundle leans on the pricier side, the striped variety (available in bold black or soft sand) adds an air of elegance to any bathroom. I couldn’t be more pleased with the pair, and with Cozy Earth’s generous 30-day return policy, there’s no harm in trying them out — though I doubt you’ll want to send them back.
Post-Wash
Towels can shed fibers like a nervous dog, which is why I always give them a few wash cycles before forming an opinion. But for the sake of this review, I tossed the Cozy Earth towels in after just one wash (tumble-dried on low, no bleach, per the brand’s instructions).
The shedding? Minimal. By wash two, there was none at all. Even better, the towels somehow felt softer post-wash, a promise echoed in the listing and glowing 5-star reviews.
Design
Let’s not gloss over this: these are really beautiful towels. They feel as luxurious as they look — plush, expensive, and transformative. My bathroom felt more elevated simply by draping one on a hook. But here’s your warning: once you own these, your old towels will pale in comparison. You might find yourself replacing your entire rotation faster than planned.
The Verdict
Are Cozy Earth towels worth it? Yes. Even if you need to save a little extra, these are an investment worth making. Though I’m relatively new to Cozy Earth towels, my experience (and the glowing reviews) suggest a long and happy future together.
Don’t be fooled by their cloud-like softness — they’re more than just a pretty face. Luxurious, absorbent, quick-drying, and long-lasting, these towels live up to the legendary status of their more famous bamboo-bedded siblings.
Price: $112, Was: $140
If you're after more understated modern bathroom ideas, you can choose between Cozy Earth's Luxe Bath Towels in six soothing solids, including light gray, harbor mist, and sand.
Price: $60, Was: $75
You know I had to get the matching Luxe Striped Hand Towels. They feature the same suspicious softness and superior absorbency as their big sisters. My set of course, is in black, though I do have a soft spot for sand, which feels spa-like and serene.
Price: $204, Was: $255
For the ultimate Cozy Earth towel connoisseur: two Luxe Bath Towels, two Luxe Hand Towels, and four Luxe Washcloths. What more could you need? Consider this set the gold-standard in housewarming gifts or a personal pick-me-up to start 2025 off strong.
Q&A
Why Are Cozy Earth Towels So Expensive?
Cozy Earth towels are crafted using Zero Twist technology, a unique blend of cotton and their signature bamboo viscose. This combination delivers unparalleled plushness and absorbency — drying faster and feeling exponentially softer than any other towel I’ve tried. My guess is that it's this superior fabrication is what contributes to their higher-than-average price point.
When Is the Best Time to Buy Cozy Earth Towels?
If you’ve been eyeing these Luxe Bath Towels, now’s your moment — Cozy Earth’s current sale is a rare chance to snag them at a discount. With the brand’s infrequent sales and every product being a standout, now is the perfect time to invest. Whether it’s Kris Jenner-approved bamboo sheets, a plush throw pillow, or a luxe PJ set, Cozy Earth pieces are always worth it — and even better when you can save.
