Mother's Day Home Gifts for the Mom Who Has Everything — Chic, Unique and Personal
I shop for a living, and I can confirm that these are the chicest Mother's Day home gift ideas you will ever find. Stop stressing — your search for the perfect gift ends here
A mother is arguably the most important person in our lives, and even better — we all have one! With Mother’s Day coming up on the second Sunday in May, it’s a date we all should mark on our calendars. We adore our moms for their care and unconditional love, but that doesn't change the fact that they're notoriously hard to shop for.
The key to picking the perfect Mother’s Day gift is to step outside the box. Think: 'what won't my mom ordinarily buy for herself?' According to designers, forget the perfume and forget the bracelet — homeware gifts are a surefire Mother's Day win. Coming from the best home decor stores, this sort of present feels 'more personal as it may be an item they [moms] may not have realized they needed, or knew they would love so much,’ says interior designer Andrea West. ‘It shows that you noticed something they would enjoy even before they did’ — how special is that? ‘And the icing on the cake is that every time they [moms] use their new homeware, it will be a memory and make them remember the giver as well’ — gifts that keep on giving.
For the cooking aficionado to the wild card, and my personal favorite: the cool mom, these are gifts for every type of mother — even if they ‘don’t want anything’ (it’s never true). I consider myself a bit of a gift-giving expert, so I did what I do best and used my skills for a shopping deep dive. The result is gorgeous — a treasure trove of homeware finds spanning every budget and interest. Time to cross this very important to-do off your list and relieve your anxieties. That chic, personal gift you were agonizing over? Yeah, it’s waiting below.
Enough with the gatekeeping — designers say these are the best spring scents (your mom will love).

Andrea recommends a ‘solid marble roller’ to ‘replace the worn plastic one she may still have.' I would agree — it's practical, and this one, in particular, is so pretty, it doubles as decor.
