I edit Livingetc's outdoor section, and there's one style of furniture I see crop up time and time again in the most creatively decorated yards at the moment — "terrazzo" furniture.

'It can be colorful and modern, yet it pairs well with traditional environments if the scale and placement are carefully considered,' Carolyn explains.
