I'm an avid H&M Home shopper – let's face it, this store has really got its so-stylish-but-so-affordable game' ON. So when I spot an H&M sale, I click "Add to basket" so hard I give myself RSI.

I've paused just long enough from scouring the current sale to update this page – it wouldn't be fair to keep these home decor deals to myself (though I'm tempted). Below, I've listed my favorite finds, although if I've already convinced you to shop the whole H&M sale, you can jump straight through to their page. Shopping something specific? I've also listed the sale pages by department to help you find what you need, fast.

I'll keep this page updated as I keep an eye on all the other home deals and sales, too. For me, though, these H&M Home deals are hard to beat.

When Is the H&M Black Friday sale?

There are usually good discounts, often up to 50% off, around Black Friday for H&M (in 2024, Black Friday falls on November 29th. In 2023, discounts started to appear earlier in the season than in previous years, so this year, keep your eyes open from right now. As I said above, there is a fantastic sale on right now, and while these aren't flagged as early Black Friday H&M deals, and the H&M Black Friday sale page hasn't (at time of updating this page) yet been activated, we suspect much of the stock on sale currently will be shifted into the Black Friday sale when H&M is ready to announce it.

When Is the H&M Cyber Monday Sale?

The H&M Black Friday sale usually extends through to Cyber Monday, which in 2024 is on Monday December 2nd, though you may find there are slim pickings by then. However, there are still bargains to be had on staples, such as vases and pillow covers, with prices up to 50% off. "My advice? If it's on sale now or during Black Friday and you want it, buy it because stock on more unusual items might run low by Cyber Monday," says Lindsey Davis, Livingetc's Ecommerce Content Director.

Does H&M Have After Christmas Sales?

H&M after Christmas sales are definitely worth checking out. This is usually when most home brands clear out their stock rooms to make way for spring/summer collections, so you can find good prices across the whole home range both before and after Christmas.

"However, be aware that H&M's after Christmas is likely to be narrower in its offering than the range you might find in the Black Friday sale," says Livingetc's Interiors Editor Emma Breislin. "Essentially, the after Christmas sale is more about clearing the decks for spring, rather than offering a broad selection of fall/winter buys. So, my advice would be that if you see something for sale in the fall period, it's a good idea to buy it then rather than wait; you may find the price is slightly lower later in the season, but equally, it may just sell out."

Are H&M sales worth it?

H&M has an affordable offering of stylish homewares so when prices are slashed by up to 75%, that offer becomes more than worth it. H&M has sales both in-store and online, and there is always usually an active sale page online, even though offerings can be sparse outside of classic sale periods. Though you can find great deals in the store, they can get chaotic at sale time and stock can run low store-to-store, so it's often better to simply visit the H&M Home Sale page online. If you're looking for fashion finds, too, go straight to the main H&M sale page, which lists all departments.

You'll also find that H&M Home offers discount periods on its site, often around 20%, at certain points in the year. This is usually billed as a member's offer, so you'll need to sign up to get the discounts (though it's free to do so).

It's worthwhile signing up to the brand's loyalty program, regardless. You get free shipping over $25, better discounts, points for purchases that you can redeem against future buys, as well as a 10% initial discount, and one for your birthday, too.

Is H&M a Cheap Brand?

H&M is known for offering style-conscious and designer lookalike buys at affordable prices. The brand has Scandi roots, so while it treads a similar path to some more luxurious (read, expensive) design brands from that part of the world – think Ferm Living, Menu, Hay and Muuto – it remains super accessible price-wise. Plus, they're not afraid to let you in on their design and manufacturing process, so you can stay informed, and be comfortable with, where the brand sources its products.

"As a regular buyer of products from H&M Home, I can say that I'm never disappointed in the quality, so while the prices feel very competitive with similar retailers — Zara Home's offering, for example, is a little more expensive — it doesn't feel like you're skimping on quality. I've bought everything from drapes and rugs to mirrors and bedding, and I can confidently say the quality and design hold up," says Livingetc's Executive Editor Pip Rich.

The one problem is that because H&M Home is so affordable, and in many places readily available, you may see a lot of people with the same thing as you. If you're worried about that, consider mixing high-low with your investment pieces, or choose the "basics" from H&M Home, like bedding, throws, pillows and anything made from marble and wood. Like a good white t-shirt, these are harder to identify as necessarily H&M Home, and will easily blend into a more eclectic mix of decor if you like to shop around.

Is There a H&M Home Memorial Day Sale?

H&M Home does tend to have a Memorial Day sale, whether this is on specific products or a sitewide sale. Memorial Day is on May 26th in 2025, so you can expect offers around that weekend. Keep an eye on this page for updates as and when we have them.
