Linwood launches modern jungle-inspired velvets and wallpapers
Inspired by the movement and life of the Argentinian dance, Linwood’s design team has updated classic archive designs with fresh, vibrant colours for their new jungle-inspired Tango velvets and wallpapers.
Strewn with cockatoos and parrots, the range of punchy wallpapers, weaves and velvets promises an exotic journey through verdant jungles, bamboo gardens and tropical canopies before reaching its destination on America’s West Coast.
Lively botanical and floral designs are juxtaposed beside strong geometric counterparts, offeringa reinterpretation of the ever popular tropical theme.
With influences from wicker baskets and chairs, the weaves are carefully coloured to link with the rest of the collection.
The colour palette is rich and vibrant featuring tangy oranges and ochre offset against zesty greens and indigo blues. The prints are applied to luscious deep pile velvet as well as nely woven linen and are beautifully complemented by the smart crisp weaves.
All manner of floral and fauna dance across the patterns from cockatoos and parrots to leopards and storks which seem to be having their very own ‘Rumble In The Jungle’.
